Free Presentation on Artifacts and Documents (post - 1945 era): March 9, 4 p.m. at IUSB Schurz Library

Join the faculty and staff of the Indiana University South Bend history department on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Schurz Library’s 5th floor atrium for the presentation, “Fighting Communists and Creeps: the story of comics during the cold war” by Allen Stewart, owner/operator of the Hall of Heroes Museum in Elkhart, Indiana, USA.
Stewart, an IUSB graduate and owner/operator of the Hall of Heroes Museum in Elkhart will discuss the extraordinary popularity of comic books in the post-1945 era. He will bring key documents and artifacts from his museum. His talk will both be educational and very, very entertaining.
