David Ignatius, Washington Post
guest panelist on Washington Week w/The Atlantic
breathed a sigh of relief that Trump 2.0 accepted
that he would first have to talk with America's

David Sanger - NY TIMES (White House beat)
This is the first meeting of a sitting POTUS with a
Russian dictator since his invasion with now amassed
troops of N. Korea, Belarus, other client-states . . .
Trump 2.0 had claimed over numerous Campaign Rallies (2022 - 4)
that he would "stop / solve" the Ukraine / Russia invasion
on Day 1. . .if he comes out of the Alaska conference without
a cease-fire or imminent movement toward lowered
bombings / civilian attacks by missiles-drones,
it will not be obvious that he "won" anything.
