One person is dead and 4 injured at a Palm Springs, California
fertility clinic, less than one mile from city's downtown
Saturday around 11 a.m. local time when a car bomb exploded.
Damage was limited to the office / reception area.
The make and model of the car vehicle was unclear; all
that was left of the vehicle was its axel.
American Reproductive Centers lists fertility treatments
such as in vitro fertilization and egg freezing among its services.
Besides local, state Police, and the FBI and ATF are
assisting investigation of the likely isolated act.
Also damaged by the blast radius were:
Desert Regional Medical Center
a liquor store,
a pancake house.
