With the overthrow of the Shah of Iran,
the Ayatollah Khomenei achieved a break in
diplomacy and resentments -- Iran went into
a sphere of anti-U.S. /Independence where it was not
Soviet-influenced with only residual ties to
Europe (esp. France) but anti-U.K.
Iran found "vassal states" / terrorist organizations
to align with as well as other Shi-ite majority
nations/Emirates like conservative kleptocracies like
Bahrain & Qatar. Later Ayatollah Khomeinei and
his anointed follow-up Khamenei
would develop ties with both Russia and
China -- However, as a theocratic state Iran would
remain counter to Ba'ath dictatorships (Sunni and other
ethnic groupings/sects) like Iraq & Syria.
Where go the Iranian people and their governance? Will
an anti-authoritarian modern Muslim state emerge with
resources in Oil and Rare Earth minerals / natural
factors in their coastal / shipping ports? what will 2025 - 2099
hold for this part of the Asian regions?
