Cosmos 482

A Soviet-era probe that was supposed to land on Venus

(2nd planet from the Sun in our Solar System) appears

to have crash landed back on our planet instead years later.

Radar over Germany stated that the lander

was not spotted at the expected

and anticipated pass. . .it is most

likely to have re-entered the

atmosphere. It never escaped

earth orbit with that orbit

decaying over 50 years.
