A Soviet-era probe that was supposed to land on Venus
(2nd planet from the Sun in our Solar System) appears
to have crash landed back on our planet instead years later.
Radar over Germany stated that the lander
was not spotted at the expected
and anticipated pass. . .it is most
likely to have re-entered the
atmosphere. It never escaped
earth orbit with that orbit
decaying over 50 years.
