When Joe Biden visit Luanda the week of Dec. 1
he is scheduled to visit the national Slavery Museum
near Luanda (the capital) to highlight the bond
between the two nations that was born out of slavery.
A vast majority of African Americans have Angolan
ancesty . . .that gives the United States an ability to
draw cultural and historical ties to the country that its
rival, China, cannot.
Online article mentions Wanda Tucker, part of Biden's
delegation and present Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III
who has said : "Four centuries ago, slavers from far away
put the men and women and children into shackles --
people who looked just like you and me."
