Missionaries to Persia

 Nowadays people refer to the

ancient region of PERSIA

as

Iran.

Legend has it that

St. Simon Zealotes

and St. Jude_ were 

traveling together to

Persia where they were

martyred.  St. Jude_

was also identifiable as

brother to St. James the Lesser.

The opening verse 1:1 of the

Epistle of Jude indicates he was

"Slave of Jesus Christ, but

a brother to James".
