Rest in Strength!
This professor emeritus of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX
died March 6, 2025 -- chair of the department of religion;
taught courses in the narratives and poetry of the Hebrew Bible
and in biblical Hebrew as well as introductions to Judaism,
Christianity, and Islam. Author of Of Santos and Saints (on
the Book of Ruth).
Participated with leader Bill Moyers in GENESIS: A living
conversation (PBS program) for session VII : The Test
(on the Akedah [Genesis chapter 22].
