Political newcomer Josh Kraft

dropped out of the race for

Boston's Mayor Thursday 9/11

two days after the incumbent,

Michelle Wu received 72% of

the run-off vote and he received

a mere 24%.  He left the race

as a 58-yr.-old newcomer and

made unnecessary an upcoming

additional vote between the two

highest vote-getters.  Ms. Wu, 

age 40, had accused of spending

his own $5 million of trying to buy

the election.  His father is the well-known

owner of the New England Patriots (NFL)

of Foxborough, Mass. : Robert Kraft.
