breaks the story that Peter Marocco of the State Department

was himself "pushed out" -- officials / insiders declined to

give much explanation of the sudden overthrow of the

dismantler of many decades of assistance and aid to

the foreign neighbors and global partners in such

State Department projects / grants.

The abrupt departure comes as the State Department

merges remnants of US AID into the regular department;

Marocco took the job of acting Deputy of US AID in Feb.

after Rubio took over the State Department fully; he is 

replaced now by DOGE / Musk lieutenant Jeremy Lewin

(28 yrs. old). . .

A group of investigators also charge Marocco and his wife

(also a US AID bureaucrat) of being in a group of Jan. 6

insurrectionists who entered the U.S. Capitol seeking to

halt the counting of votes in the Electoral College and

April 18, 2025 Politico dot-com reports that the firing by

Secy. of State Marco Rubio of Peter Marocco (a MAGA

stalwart) over the mis-handling and revenge-like actions

firing as many of US AID employees, terminating grants

in quick succession will earn the former FL senator 

resentment from MAGA firebrands - extreme Trumpists.

Marocco's bulldozing style and failures to work

effectively with colleagues made him a detriment now

that US AID had no autonomy and was only dependent

on Rubio's State Department.  Laura Loomer among other

extremists influencers posted anti-Rubio social media

propaganda about his loyalty as a Trump MAGA.
