The top court in S. Korea upheld his impeachment
and Yoon Suk Yeol will be removed from office.
This clears the way for a new President to be
elected.
Four months ago, Yoon Suk Yeol attempted to
declare Martial Law but was prevented; only
on April 4, 2025 had a final ruling from the
Constitutional Court upheld the impeachment
(ruling was 8 - 0).
