ST. MICHAELS, Maryland:
Friday, June 3, 6:00 p.m.: Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. “Author, teacher and master historian, Adam Goodheart shares the dramatic and little-known story of how a courageous group of slaves at the beginning of the Civil War launched a revolution by the shores of the Chesapeake – a revolution that would ultimately lead to Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
