Pentagon spokesman who defended Scrubbing - Deleting of "Jackie Robinson"

In mid-March, the Pentagon removed a series of

government web pages on Black pioneers and 

notable military members;

John Ullyot

who answered the media's questions about the

scrubbing / deleting of information concerning

Jackie Robinson's service in the Military forces

said, "DEI is dead at the defense department."

Adding that "he was pleased with the department's

rapid compliance with a directive ordering that

diversity-related content be removed from all

platforms."

Mr. Ullyot was removed from his position

shortly afterward.
