Min Aung Hlaing

UPDATE: March 31, 2025

BBC interviewed former ambassador to Myanmar

Scot Marciel who addressed whether the brutal

junta would resent that Trump-Vance-Musk had

pulled out of US AID but Marciel reminded his

questioner that the infrastructure failing as it is

would have kept the possible $2 million pledged

that would follow a Marco-Rubio-State Dept.

assessment of what would arrive from D.C.

for urban damage in Mandalay or a rural north area.
