Phone call (3:15 p.m. Eastern) from Dad - enroute to Mackinac Island/Bridge

Sunday August 1 -- departing from Mowequa, Illinois was a bus tour group from Central Illinois that included my 83-year-old father Bill Shaw and my aunt from rural Decatur, IL (Irene Richards Kreher) who were traveling to arrive tonight for a two-day tour and visit.  Here's where they called from as a late afternoon Dinner meal at a featured fruit "resort" of sorts:
Robinette's Apple Haus & Winery :

Family owned and operated fruit farm, cider mill, bakery and lunchroom featuring (in season) apples, peaches, nectarines and cherries. In the fall, we have a corn maze, horse-drawn hayrides, and u-pick apples. U-pick cherries in July. An 1881 barn holds our wine tasting room, original West Michigan artwork and distinctive gifts. A 5.25 mile mountain biking trail starts in the orchard and enters rolling woodlands to the north. Visitors may cross-country ski throughout our orchards and in the county park adjacent to our farm.

He pledged to phone once the traveling itinerary was complete!  We hope and pray the sightseeing and dining/accomodations are the best in the Midwest!
