The lecturer had been scheduled April 14
to give a Lecture on the VIRTUES of STOICISM
to the entire sophomore class concerning "Wisdom".
Instead of giving him the academic freedom to address
what would be a memorable presentation in these times
fraught with trade wars and constitutional uncertainties,
the lecture to the sophomores and a separate address to
the Football Team (on themes from his books on
STOICISM) was cancelled at the last hour beforehand.
