The Justices must rule this term of the Court whether
the Catholic Church of Oklahoma can fund an
online school that is faithful to the teachings of
Jesus Christ when it reviews a stacked state board
approval of an application filed by two dioceses
in OK. The K-12 system had planned to begin
last fall with part of its mission to evangelize the
students in the Catholic faith.
The case has divided some of the state's Republican
leadership, traditional against MAGA - Trumpist,
with the extremist Governor and Supt. Public Instruction
Ryan Walters taking the side of the 2 dioceses
and Attorney General Gentner Drummond
opposing the changed status and overturning the online
school's board approval of St. Isidore -- see apnews.com/
