is the nominee of the Trump 2.0 - Vance administration
to become Ambassador to the Holy See (Vatican City, a nation);
approved by Senate Foreign Relations committee before
the announcement that Chicago Native Robert Cardinal Prevost
was named Pope, the successor of the late Pope Francis.
He is president of CatholicVote since
2000, and oversaw the group's endorsement
of Donald J. Trump in 2024.
When he is "vetted" by the Senate Foreign
Relations committee upcoming in Spring'
2025 -- he will be likely introduced by
someone different than the Senior
Senator (Dick Durbin) or the Junior
Senator (Tammy Duckworth).
His X account, according to Nat.Catholic
Ronline.org/, has been silent since
Dec. 8, 2024 but it acknowledged on
Dec. 20, 2024 that Trump's nomination
is a testament to the importance of
Catholics in the United States. Burch
attended Catholic schools in Phoenix, AZ.
College at Univ. of Dallas, a favorite
school for traditionalist Catholics.
