Adjust clocks ahead one hour (advice from Fritz King of Michigan Live!)

You may have an excuse to sleep in on Sunday.
Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday March 8, 2015 at 2 a.m., meaning clocks move forward an hour -- losing many an hour of sleep.
But look at it on the bright side: we will also have an extra hour of sunlight in the evening.
While it is time to change the clocks, you can also use it as a time for some home and digital maintenance. Fire officials have suggested to change batteries in smoke detectors with the changing of the clocks. Michigan State Police suggest people restock their emergency preparedness kits. I also use the time to change several of my passwords for online accounts with the clocks to make sure they are secure.
Hawaii, most of Arizona and some U.S. territories don't observe daylight saving time and do not adjust their clocks.
