Speaker of the House of Representatives
Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana)
pulled a stopgap spending plan
from its Wed. Floor vote that
he had scheduled. The reason
was that he did not have a
majority of his own MAGA
representatives on board to pass
the measure that would extend
the government services and payments
beyond Sept. 30, 2024.
