An appropriations stopgap measure passed by both
parts of Congress will go to the President's desk for signature.
It keeps government funding intact and added $231 million
to Secret Service funding, as well as freeing up $20 billion
for FEMA.
Earlier the House of Representatives passed by a vote of
341 - 82
that measure; while Senate
Democrats + moderate Republicans
approved by 78 - 18 the House Measure.
