Hurricane Helene made landfall as a
Grade 4 storm at Tallahassee, FL
overnight. It continued as a hurricane
into Georgia with severe storms and
tornadoes.
it is the fourth hurricane this year
to make landfall along the Gulf Coast
this year. Such frequency has only
been seen 5 times since 1851, according
to meteorological records in Florida
and the Gulf region.
