St. Louis Wins National League Title, Will Play Texas in World Series
The St. Louis Cardinals won the National League Title on Sunday night, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 12-6. It was 18th league pennant for the Cardinals.
St. Louis will now face the Texas Rangers in the World Series. The Rangers beat the Detroit Tigers 15-5 to win the American League Championship on Saturday night.
The series will open Wednesday night (October 19) in St. Louis.
