Inertia Cycleworks is offering a winter run this month in conjunction with the Hunter Ice Festival.
The 6th annual Frigid 5K will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 17., at Inertia Cycleworks, located at 211 E. Main St. in downtown Niles.
Participants will travel a route along the St. Joseph River in
downtown Niles.
Afterward, runners and walkers will have the opportunity to warm up
with chili, cookies, and an age-group awards presentation at Massimo’s Pizzeria
downtown.
There will be running and walking categories.
Day of race registration will be offered from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at
Inertia Cycleworks.
Entry fee is $25 or $20 without a race shirt.
People can begin picking up their race packets from 10 a.m. to 6
p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at Inertia Cycleworks.
