Under current House rules,
a "motion to vacate the chair"
requires the support of 9
GOP members of the House
of Representatives;
currently the most dissatisfied
members of the HOUSE
Thomas Massie (KY)
and Majorie Taylor Greene (GA)
have publicly criticized Johnson
and outrightly inform him he does
NOT have their full support.
Recently 4 GOP "moderate" members
split with Johnson and signed a
"Discharge Petition" forcing him to
allow a vote on the ACA (ObamaCare)
subsidies for low- and middle-income
households which gives them
insurance options.
