Hannah Dugan, judge, has resigned and will face trial for trying to obstruct Federal ICE agents mid-December last year

Jan.3, 2026 -- JUDGE Hannah Dugan

has resigned from her post, writing a letter

of resignation from the bench to 

GOV. Tony Evers (re-elected Nov. 2022 and

who will serve this 2nd term until 1/2027).

CNN.com has details of what transpired since

the original events / disobedience to the

federal ICE agents who appeared at her

Milwaukee Courtroom with deportation paperwork,

demanding the immigrant to be layed over into

their awaiting handcuffs and van transportation to

the detention cell. 



Wisconsin State Judge,

Hannah Dugan

was accused of

attempting to usher a man

to a side door while ICE

agents (DHS Secy. Kristi

Noem deputies) waited

outside a state courtroom.

At that moment she was beginning

a full calendar of misdemeanor

cases and interacted with Federal

Customs & Immigration agents

eager to take away in handcuffs

the immigrant before her in her

court for setting calendar dates.

The defendant in her

courtroom was an undocumented

immigrant.

burglary charges in WI.
