Auld Lang Syne on BURNS_NIGHT (annually Jan. 25)

Those of Scottish heritage / ancestry know of

Robert Burns, Scotland's

most famous poet

(1759 - 1796) : he is held dear to

his fans / admirers among the

descendants of the Scottish clans.

His "Burns Night Supper" includes a

well-known menu of HAGGIS

minced with suet, onions, oatmeal,

& seasoning : diners sing at the

courses before them as well as

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and never called to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and auld Lang syne"
