Robert Burns, Scotland's
most famous poet
(1759 - 1796) : he is held dear to
his fans / admirers among the
descendants of the Scottish clans.
His "Burns Night Supper" includes a
well-known menu of HAGGIS
minced with suet, onions, oatmeal,
& seasoning : diners sing at the
courses before them as well as
"Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never called to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and auld Lang syne"
