Congress back from August time off ; one more month until new TERM for SCOTUS

The House of Representatives begins its fall

schedule of important fiscal and budgetary-spending

work on September 2, 2025 as does the U.S. Senate.

On Thursday 9/4 HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. will

testify before the Senate Finance Committee and

his words / agenda will be under great scrutiny.

Chairing that committee is Senator Crapo of Idaho

and ranking member (D) is Ron Wyden of Oregon.

The Supreme Court (headed by Chief Justice

Roberts) returns to its 2025- 2026 term on the

first Monday of October next month.  It too 

will be under great scrutiny by the citizens of

the United States as to whether it will continue

the constitutional principle of "Checks and Balances"

on the two other branches of Federal governance.
