Eau Claire (Michigan) school officials confirm the middle-high school is on a "soft lockdown" due to a threatening note found in the high school's bathroom.
According to our reporting partners at the St. Joseph (MI) Herald-Palladium, the interim superintendent said police are currently investigating, adding that a message is being sent to district parents.
School officials added that the note said something like "we're going to get the school."
The interim superintendent added that he is advising parents to read the district's message before deciding whether to pick up their kids from school, though they are welcome to do so.
