World Harmony Run (began in New York City in April) has eight runners (six different countries) meets delegation at City Hall, Niles

According to coverage by the Niles Daily Star (www. nilesstar. com) "A group of police officers, city employees, and children welcomed the World Harmony Runners who were carrying a torch on their way through the city.  Salil Wilson from Australia said his passion for peace and meeting new people gives him the endurance to run year after year since 1987.  "Everyone has this yearning for peace and harmony inside themselves, and the run is like a catalyst. . .There is so much kindness that flows out of people.  The people who hosted here in Niles were so nice.  It's like standing underneath a waterfall of human kindness."
Sukhada Korshunova of Perm, Russia (a new 2010 participant) said, "The main thing is self-giving; (people we meet along the journey) inspire and give us energy."
They talked with dozens of children from the Niles-Buchanan Y Youth camp at City Hall and allowed each of them to hold the World Harmony Run torch.  Their organization is a global relay in more than 100 nations in the world.
