Three hikers (Zagros Mountains, Iraqi Kurdistan) - imprisoned now 365 days later

Shane Bauer, 27, his fiancee Sara Shourd, and their friend Josh Fattal, 27 remain in Iranian prison cells one year after they accidentally crossed the unmarked border into Iran.  They were arrested on suspicion of espionage and taken to notorious Evin Prison in Teheran. . .Since the hikers were captured, their mothers have tirelessly campaigned for their release; they have not been formally charged with a crime nor taken to trial.  Demonstrators, some dressed as hikers, are expected to march in front of the Iranian embassy in New York City on Friday.  The hikers' mothers and the director of the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran are expected to speak to the rally.  Protests are also scheduled in 30 cities Saturday; supporters who can't attend are urged to sign a Facebook petition for their release.  .  .
