 The Defense Dept. of Pete Hegseth, former

weekend anchor of FOX & Friends (Fox News),

fired Thursday a 

high-energy laser

at a drone belonging to

DHS (Kristi Noem's Dept.)

over a small border town

near El Paso, TX.  This also

happened early in Feb. 2026

when officials from Customs

& Border Protection used a

high-energy laser on a metallic

birthday balloon. . .That led to

a complete shutdown of El Paso, TX

air space. . .Pentagon official
