He thereafter was one of the few California GOP members
of the House of Representatives who did not
receive an "endorsement" from TFG Trump,
now based in Mar-A-Lago, Florida.
Democratic Assemblyman Rudy Salas of Bakersfield
will take on David Valdao in Fall general election.
