The annual Lake Sara fireworks show will be held at dusk six days later (Saturday 7/9).

The scheduled fireworks display at Lake Sara has been postponed due to the heavy rainfall.
The fireworks display will now be held this Saturday night, the 9th, at 9:15pm, according to the Good Neighbors of Lake Sara.

According to a Beecher City, IL weather watcher (Tim Morrison), the total rainfall on each of the days JULY 1 - 7 amounted to a grand total of 4.1 inches. Heavy rain storms on Sunday July 3 caused the postponement of the Lake Sara Exhibit of Fireworks.
