International Food Festival by Indiana University South Bend Student Clubs (April 5, 7 p.m.)

Travel around the world while sampling international cuisine from 18 countries at the 15th annual International Food Festival from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at IU South Bend. The festival is in the University Grill, Administration Building, 1700 Mishawaka Ave. There will be tasty treats from China, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Iraq, Russia, France, United States, Costa Rica, Mexico, and eight different African countries.
The event will include an international variety show, plus music performances from a local African band and the IUSB Flute Ensemble, traditional dance performances from China, Saudi Arabia, and Russia; and a fashion show featuring the traditional dress of 10 countries. The festival will also include activities such as henna, braids, origami, and a children’s table.
Tickets are available at the Office of International Student Services or at the door. The cost is $10 for adults and children 13 and up; $5 for children 3 to 12 years; and free for children two and younger.
