Futuristic Cars -- an NPR phone-in dialogue (Science Friday 2 p.m. Eastern)

Host Ira Flatow will interview guests and take listener calls/questions (Friday October 15, 2010 -- regular schedule National Public Radio for "Talk of the Nation")

We'll talk about the Google efforts, and look back at other 'cars of the future' from years gone by that were designed guided by sound beams and magnets. What happened - or didn't happen - to them?
