Will a Democrat enter the rough-and-tumble
of Run-off ranked Placement voting?

The largest state in geography has high payment
error rates regarding the federal Dept. of Agriculture
SNAP (food stamps benefit program) and will
be forced along with other such states to pay
billions of dollars for the SNAP program beginning
in 2028. Alaska, which already grapples with
pockets of incredibly high food insecurity,
along with other state governments would have
to decide whether to absorb the billions of
penalty costs / administrative fees or cut
benefit for low-income Americans.
