As nephew of the President-elect, Fred and Lisa Trump

were seated close with other members of the family, near

Senator John McCain. . .

Donald was sworn in at noon, as is the custom . .  

Just as my uncle began his inaugural address, 

the slate-gray sky of the Capitol opened up 

and a light rain began to fall.  As many com-

mentators pointed out later, it was a 

fairly dark speech, berating the D.C. 

elites of both parties for ignoring the 

needs of the American people and allowing the

nation's cities to be overrun with "crime & 

gangs & drugs. . .The American carnage stops 

right here and stops right now. From this day 

forward, a new vision will govern our land.  

From this moment on, 

it's going to be America First." (page 293, Chapter 20)
