The term
SUPERMOON
coined by Richard Noelle in 1979
refers to the moment when a full moon
passes closest to the earth (APOGEE)
Supermoons can appear 30% brighter
than the average moon.
The best time to see it is whenever it is
virtually dark.
According to NASA the next one will be
January 2037 !
