Indiana) offer feasts of Polish food (sausage, noodles, sweet & sour cabbage)
Families and friends gather to share a drink and play cards. The day after Easter
when the 40-day Lenten season of fasting and penitence concludes (annually).
Local politicians will be out to meet the public; from time to time
this has included some famous names: Bobby Kennedy in 1968, the Clintons
in 2008, and current-Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (now of Michigan).
