For the public Niles (Michigan) Community school district
there are at mid-month Parent / Teacher Conferences
on Feb. 14 - 15. No School on Friday Feb. 16;
Teachers only report for "Professional Development"
on Monday 2/19/2024.
Students therefore have 1/2 day off on 15th, as well as the
entire school day attendance on the 16th and 19th.
This means that Presidents Weekend lasts 4 1/2 days
with vacation / off-time on Thursday afternoon,
Friday & Monday. Students return to in-class
learning on Tuesday Feb. 20 this year.
