Two days before the New Hampshire GOP Primary, former candidate for the GOP
Presidential nomination for Nov. 2024, Ron DeSantis uttered a slogan (believing
it to be a proverb-advice to those who don't arrive at the "top of the heap"):
Success is not final;
failure is not fatal;
it is the courage
to continue on that counts.
Unfortunately for the attention-craving former candidate for the Presidency,
he was quoting a Budweiser ad of 1938 and the proverbial advice had never
been uttered by U.K. Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
January 21, 2024 was the date of DeSantis "farewell speech to his supporters";
