The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has renewed their calls for social distancing 

between pets and humans who might have COVID-19 after 

a pug in North Carolina tested positive for the coronavirus. 

It's believed to be the first case of the virus in a dog in the U.S. 

Last week, the CDC confirmed two cats in New York had contracted the virus.
