High Wind Advisory (Berrien County, Michigan) -- day of Monday April 13, 2020

* WHEN...From 5 AM EDT to 8 PM EDT Monday. The strongest winds will overspread western areas between 5 and 8 AM EDT and quickly spread east through the morning.

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. A brief period of gusts 50 to 55 mph is possible Monday morning.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.



Area Counties Affected: Berrien; Branch; Cass; Hillsdale; St. Joseph (all in Michigan)

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with frequent gusts up to 50 mph. A brief period of gusts 50 to 60 mph possible Monday morning.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night (Easter April 12, 2020) through Monday evening (April 13).

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
