Reduce Reuse Recycle Day (April 11, 2018 afternoon): Mendel Center South Parking Lot, Benton Harbor, MI

3 - 7 p.m. at Lake Michigan College Campus -- APRIL 11 -- Free and Open to the Public

LAKE MICHIGAN COLLEGE, 2755  E. NAPIER AVE., BENTON HARBOR

Enter campus from Napier Ave. and follow the event signs to the parking lot south of the Mendel Center.

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

  • Household Chemicals (see list of accepted household chemicals).
  • Electronics (see list of accepted electronics; fees apply on computer monitors and televisions, other items are free to drop off)
  • Magazines and Catalogs
  • Books (soft and hard cover)
  • Shoes (all kinds)
  • Polystyrene/Styrofoam (ice chests, foam cups, foam "to-go" containers, egg cartons, foam blocks; not accepted packaging peanuts, soft foam, or building materials)
  • Eye Glasses
  • Bicycles
  • Plastic Grocery Bags (must be clean and empty)
  • American Flags
  • Personal Documents for free, on-site shredding
