Living History (Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth) -- Program 1:30 - 3 p.m. Feb. 7, 2018 at South Bend History Museum

Born into slavery, Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth both found a way to escape. Harriet went on to rescue other slaves using the network of the Underground Railroad, and Sojourner became a women’s rights activist. Learn about these incredible women through a living history performance by Gladys Muhammad at South Bend (IN) History Museum, taking place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Admission is $3 or $1 for members. Reservations are required by February 5.

Gloria Muhammad also included a brief dramatic monologue in the voice of "Rosa Parks" -- all was very inspiring and pleasing to the 120 or so in the room!
