For the ninth consecutive year, Indiana University South Bend presents "Lift Every Voice: Celebrating the African American Spirit" as part of Black History Month. The celebration is scheduled for 7 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Campus Auditorium of Northside Hall.
For the ninth consecutive year, Indiana University South Bend presents "Lift Every Voice: Celebrating the African American Spirit" as part of Black History Month. The celebration is scheduled for 7 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Campus Auditorium of Northside Hall.
As in previous years, a group of special guests will help commemorate the event. The concert will feature bass baritone, Carl Dupont; violinist Cleveland Chandler; and pianist Karl Van Richards, all performing a section of the concert with the South Bend Symphonic Choir. The program is under the direction of the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts Dean, Marvin Curtis.
