Diane Rehm call-in discussion on Millennial Voter trends

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have spent the past few weeks targeting different demographics of voters. One group both have struggled to reach: young voters under the age of 35. Polls show that millennials are about 31 percent of the electorate. And more than half identify as independent. To them, what counts more than party affiliation: How trustworthy a candidate is, and where they fall on the issues. Diane and a panel talk about results from a 2016 IPSOS/Diane Rehm Show poll, and hear from young voters and what’s driving them to vote—or not—this year.
