Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Federal partners will
hold a press conference Wed. June 12, 2024 to mark
the full reopening of the Port of Baltimore 11 weeks after
the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
The bridge collapse was considered a calamity for the
region with unforgettable images of the fallen iconic bridge.
On March 26, 2024
the large cargo ship (the Dali) collided with the bridge,
causing the catastrophic collapse and a tragic loss of life
for 6 construction workers -- who were recent immigrant men.
