John Allen, Vatican correspondent -- to speak March 21, 2019 at Holy Cross College, Notre Dame, IN

Holy Cross College will host a Vatican journalist to present a talk entitled, “Rome is from Mars, America from Venus: The Cultural Gap between the Vatican and Main Street USA.”

The featured guest speaker for the event is  John L. Allen Jr.  He will be at the Pfeil Center’s McKenna Arena at Holy Cross College on Thursday, March 21st at 7pm. Allen is widely regarded as one of the best single sources of information on Vatican affairs.  He has reported extensively on the Catholic Church's abuse crisis and Pope Francis' response to it. Allen also serves as a Vatican analyst for CNN.   

A reception and book signing will follow Allen's talk.  This event is free and open to all.
